ITEC: Missing CDs, general thoughts

We didn't have any Linux CDs yesterday, so we have been telling people to go to shipit.ubuntu.com. I just checked ShipIt this morning and the turnaround time for a free Ubuntu Linux CD is up to ten weeks, so anyone who came by our booth on Wednesday is in for a bit of a shock if they want to try out Linux. Concerns about ITEC: Exhibitor logins, badges, setup times?

I went browsing through last year's KCLUG list around this time of year, and according to last year's schedule we needed an actual Exhibitor's Badge to get on the floor before the show started. Setup was from 9am to 6pm Tuesday, which is today, and no setup times were listed for Wednesday. I can bring things in after 4pm today, but I'm a little concerned that I might not be able to get onto the exhibit floor to set them up. Do we have an ITEC booth?

I'm all set to man the booth, but I don't have an ITEC Exhibitor username/password to register myself for an Exhibitor badge. I'm hoping that there's no cutoff date for registering as an Exhibitor, since this coming Wednesday is the start of ITEC. I was hoping I could do better but my current demo machine is a 1Ghz system with 512MB RAM. So the Eee PC that I've been waiting for is out. And in real brick-n-mortars too. Apparently it's available from MC online and some stores are getting them in stock too. I was hoping to get out to the one here in town to see if they have any on display but car troubles got in the way.
